This is the report of 4 cases of Pancreatic Pseudocysts treated successfully at the Department of General Surgery, Choongnam National University Hospital from Jan. 1971 to Dec. 1974. In this series:
1) Age incidence was 2 cases in 3rd decade, 2 cases in 4th decade and male to female ratio was 3: 1.
2) Two cases had history of trauma, 1 case acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis but no specific history obtained in 1 case.
3) Upper abdominal pain and upper abdominal mass was the common symptom and they had the tendency of increasing continuously.
4) Abnormal upper G-I X-ray finding was found in all 4 cases.
5) Roux-en-Y cystojejunostomy was performed in 3 cases and transgastric cystogastrostomy in 1 case, and no specific complications were found.
A brief review of literature was made.
